Caves and Prosciutto: Ljubljana, Lipica & Piran
We arrived to Ljubljana late Friday night and just got to the hotel and hung out before bed. Saturday morning we headed straight to the caves. I have been to the caves before in Ohio like the Indian Taverns but this was amazing. There were parts where the cave was over 100 meters tall! Caves n coast
... red formations, black and brilliant dazzling white depending on the soil composition of the grounds above. We also noticed a lot of streaky bacon looking bits and some spaghetti, but most noticeable was a lot of 'nik naks' appearing rocks (as in the crisps)

Transferred from our bus to a ferry that took us into Venice. The weather Gods were on our side: light rain on our way there, stopped as we got off the ferry. No place like it on earth! Verona and Padua
Today was Verona and Padua. Verona, with its Roman Arena from the first century A.D. where, ironically, they were setting up for a huge concert this evening featuring Adriano, a popular rock group. The inner wall quite well preserved through the centuries and a small section of the outer wall still standing. Jutri zjutraj grem v nabavo hrane za na pot, da bom založena, v primeru da letalska hrana razočara. Privoščla si bom še zadnji krof pred odhodom :)
