    ... for the 6km trek back to the car. Would we do it again? Possibly not. But the whole experience with this attractive beach as the reward was certainly a memorable one.

    Now, we had plans at the start of the day to visit Cassis in the morning and then the afternoon in Aix-en-Provence but it was now late afternoon and we enjoyed the pretty fishing village of Cassis enough to decide to eat dinner in town before driving the 90 minutes back to Apt.
