A travel blog entry by ngbaoyi on Aug 11, 2014

We sat the night bus to marseille which was a 9hours ride. Had a good sleep and only waking up randomly before closing my eyes and going back to sleep again haha. When we were about to reach marseille, I saw the tour bus leaning really close to the van parking close to the junction. Just when I was thinking whether the bus will crash into the van, the bus scratched the van and hahaha accident !! But we got delayed and we reached our destination later than we expected. Sian. ...

Fairly uneventful day today which will be obvious by the lack of blog and photos. We are currently in Toulon, Southern France. Toulon is home to the French navy which is obvious by the amount of naval ships docked here. I guess in France was ever at war then this place would be a prime prospect for bombing. We were just in time to hear KK say, "Here we are in La Seyne-sur-Mer!"

This was not Marseilles, it was not Toulon, it was the small port town of La Seyne-sur-Mer. Toulon was a mere 20 kilometre round trip by foot, but for some reason we decided that ...

Our mission this morning was to mail the two packages we'd packed with souvenirs and some expendable clothing items. Little did we know it would turn into a version of the "Bataan Death March"! We trucked the packages (on our little grocery dolly) to the closest post office, just a few blocks south of us, at the end of rue d'Italie, only to discover that La Poste's computer network was down. So onward we marched, toward another post office next to ...
