... mountain goats we went. The view was beautiful and it had cost us nothing. Lets just say we were just a little chuffed with ourselves.

We went down into the town to buy supplies and picnic spot with spectatular views and had another picnic using out handy kitchen tools. We then headed back down the hill to the train station. Meeting quite a few people coming up that looked exhausted and they were less than half way.

... the guy if they tried it on us. Once in Nice with our somber moods we walked up to the old Chateu and had a look at the waterfall and lookouts over the beautifully clear water. We then walked through all the amazing shopping and bought a new outfit for tonight. We then hit up the beach, the pebbley beach when you see pictures of Nice the beach looks amazing, but its not lol the beach in Barcelona was better, you can hire umbrellas and deck chairs for about 8.50 euro. ...

... A couple more hours on the road (more traffic) and further disagreements with the GPS saw us arrive at Camping Chantecler, Aix en Provence, around 8:30pm. It's a nice spot, lots of trees, but the usual French attitude to cleanliness in the sanitary blocks - c.est la vie. There is also a restaurant of sorts so we settled in for a few verre de vin rouge and bieres and dinner. Good food and friendly locals who were happy to let me practise my rusty french on them. ... wasn't enough we were surprised to learn that we would climb yet another one. That Eiffel Tower is looking really easy now, to bad Jack and Brendon were to eager to race to the top that they didn't hear there was a lift. After that we all broke for dinner where some had crepes or pizza, others had ravioli or a huge container of mussels. Now we are all settled back at our cozy and cute hotel waiting to see what tomorrow brings. Stay tuned for what Jack does next.
