Vimy is to the south and I was actually having fun riding and I ended up on a kinda narrow windy country road and I do not know why but something said to me look up....I did....I had to pull over. Seems I was in the Doure vally and off in the distance on the ridge above was the Vimy Monument....it stands out like ...

-they were chain smokers and very nice. They gave us a good tip about a small town to go to tomorrow where there is neat hiking. Lonely Planet agreed and we had a destination for the next day.
-home to bed and we decided to wing the plan for lodging for the next day.
... the self guided tour turned out to be just right and we enjoyed our visit. Namur had far surpassed our expectations. It was a great stop.
-we drove on to our hotel in Rochefort. Our host was a bit grumpy and the room had alot of road noise. A bit of a disappointment.
Today we drove about 200km in the ****ing rain ... Both wet till the bone!! Luckily we found a small camping with rooms for rent. The room is actually very big, with a kitchen included. After everything was unpacked, I enjoyed a warm shower after having very cold the whole day long. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice meal in the local restaurant. It is now 21.15h but I guess I will not be awake for a long time anymore. Sleep ...
... old lady ran it, and the museum was three rooms in the back of her shop. It was a general museum, with taxidermy of the wildlife, and old farm/kitchen tools, but with lots of war stuff scattered in. The basement was all War stuff, from both the first and second world wars, and both sides. It was really neat.
In the front of her shop, she sold antiques, most from the war. I bought a Soviet star thing, and an American bullet. ...
