    A blurry eyed wake up call at 6 saw us tent packed and underway for just before 7. Double Espresso at the Baie du Somme Aire got things moving. News of tunnel closures In Rouen led to a hasty detour cross country but sat nav saviour came to the rescue ! Arrived at Issoire around 4:30 so our guess of 9 hours driving was about right.     ... think maybe we've been a bit spoilt as it wasn't even busy it's just that the roads till now have been empty. As we left the next pretty town of Ezy-sur-Eure Peter noticed a bike path to our left going the same direction as us.     ... he liked so much. We really enjoyed the garden, even though it was really crowded, but you just took your time and you could see everything no problem. Jim walked into his house and straight back out again as it was really too busy, and I just had a look at the down stairs dining room and kitchen which were lovely and very country french.

    ... place is in a small section of the local cemetery that is cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The maintenance crew (based in Normandy) was there when we arrived.
