... some things to send home with us. While she was doing that I found the Gumboot section! After looking up and down for a while we both finally decided to get some Solognac Thermal Gumboots! They have a warm liner in them and are closer to Ugg boots but with full rubber outsides! With this stuff all gathered (and a few extra cans of cooking gas) we headed back out into Paris! Fifteen more minutes or so and we had made it to Chambelland, which wasn't the easiest to find, but ...

... We had nowhere to stay so looked on TomTom for hotels & Pacy sur Eure had 2 so we headed there, one looked lovely right on the river but shut the other on the way out & just a motel but fine, we were tired. Couldn't face cycling back into town although it looked quite lively so went across the road to Intermarche & bought beer, wine, fruit & cheese, done. Not bad distance considering we got such a late ...

... to the nearby Impressionist Gallery first and found we could buy a combined ticket to both for €16.50 per adult and therefore go through a ticket holders gate at the mason and avoid the long wait. The lady at the ticket booth mentioned the All Blacks when we said we were from NZ - she is only the 2nd person who has talked about rugby to us. The gallery was pretty good but it didn't have much of Monet, more of the ...
