    ... Louis XIV, XV, XVI) and the Orleans. At the chapel at Dreus all the Orleans are buried including the first of that line Louis Phillip. It is a beautiful chapel with beautiful stained glass windows made by the Sevres factory. The statues on the tombs are beautifully carved. It is set on a high hill overlooking a small French village.

    It was a very misty morning. The grass play area had a low cloud hovering over the turf between the chalets and the camping cars.

    ... trying the first of the champagnes we decided to buy another few bottles! Can't hurt!And we kept pushing! Emma had dug out some Camembert from the esky and we finished it off with some crackers whilst heading down the highway - first stop was Decathlon (sports store) for some all weather clothes for the next week!     A blurry eyed wake up call at 6 saw us tent packed and underway for just before 7. Double Espresso at the Baie du Somme Aire got things moving. News of tunnel closures In Rouen led to a hasty detour cross country but sat nav saviour came to the rescue ! Arrived at Issoire around 4:30 so our guess of 9 hours driving was about right.     ... think maybe we've been a bit spoilt as it wasn't even busy it's just that the roads till now have been empty. As we left the next pretty town of Ezy-sur-Eure Peter noticed a bike path to our left going the same direction as us.
