After 20+ hours on a plane, it was a relief to finally touch down in the home of Saint Bernard's, secret bank accounts and chocolate. After a little confusion in getting in contact with our car lease people (apparently we needed to cross into the French sector of the airport in order for the mobile phone number we were given to work - 50 metres …

... day in Lausanne was spent much like our first. We chilled out and took in the sights and had some Swiss movenpick in Switzerland. We also booked our tickets for an epic train ride tomorrow. One thing I will note on here - food in Switzerland is so expensive. We spent almost $80 on dinner on our first night here for pretty average takeaway food. So we decided to just buy some amazing bread and holey cheese and we've eaten that for a few meals - so yum!
