The trams are great: clean, cheap, and all electric. The city of Geneva (from what I could see) was really clean too, with recycling bins everywhere there's a rubbish bin. The water here even tastes like New Zealand water! The hotel is really nice too, with big modern rooms. Definitely nice to have some space after ...
... to not only revive the games, but ultimately wanted to change the way of the world through sport. It was incredibly inspiring to see.
The children really enjoyed themselves, listening to the various displays, looking, touching and feeling the different items, and even being able to be interactive with the various Olympic torches over time. It was truly magical.

... did!! I was wearing my aerobic shoes from the 90's. Before heading out my friend told me that the shoes were a little "dated" and that they only last for a certain period of time. Of course I didn't really believe her...until a few moments later. Incredible..the whole sole just ripped apart!! Just from a little running. It happened to one shoe and then 5min later, the other shoe fell apart as well. It was freakin hilarious!!
... am eternally thankful for the church's presence in the history of Europe. I know that if it were not for the church, in spite of its many faults, we would not have the sculptures, paintings and stained glass windows that we enjoy today.
With a quick hello and good-bye to Lausanne we are off to Berner Oberland.
