... hardcore adventure. This is where people with skis, ropes, ice axes and crampons go. They go to summit Mont Blanc, or to ski down the mountain, or to go climb stuff. Pretty impressive considering it's a white out and -5 degrees Celsius. They were also doing some work on the platforms here. There was a small excavator working on the side of a massive slope in these conditions. It was pretty nuts! We then returned down the mountain ...

We discovered a patisserie in the medieval town of St Prex, where we had yummy chocolate croissants! The rain came and went throughout the day, just enough to make sure that we were completely soaked before it cleared up. And every so often, our shadows would return as the sun caressed our dripping clothes, and returned a little bit ...

... morning to recover from the late night. Matt and I both took the noon train down to Bex and hopped on a train to Lausanne. At that point, he headed for a train to Bern and I went to book my train from Zurich to Vienna which is in a couple of days. It's going to be an overnight train so I figured I book it now. Even with the 10 CHF reservation fee, I'm saving like 20 CHF by not having to stay in a Swiss hostel....which are ridiculously expensive!

Once I check-in at ...
