    ... expectation was that it would be a bit like a tacky Marbs or similar. In fact what we found was quite the opposite. Chic, some glam, clearly lots of money, great boutiques and friendly people were everywhere.     ... a Hyeres. Nous avosn visite les iles d'or, Porquerolles, Port Cros, mais aussi St Tropez, et bien sur Hyeres. Nous avons passe un excellent sejour, chez mamie, excellente cuisine, soleil toute la semaine, eaux turquoises, etc. Quel super destination pour finir l'ete.

    ... in order. It never takes as long to get home as it does to get to the destination, & today was no exception. As we were heading home I noticed a large outstanding building in the distance so headed in that direction to explore what it was. Low & behold if it didn't turn out to be the back end of the convent accommodation that we are staying in! Ddrrr! I had a wee lay down & Jul couldn't settle, so she prepared our dinner of left overs & new ingredients ...
