... of the best parts were being able to view the solar eclipse on The Alps 12000 feet above ground. This can not really be described, I am thankful as many people do not get to say they had the opportunity of doing this.     In the beggining it was really cold and a bit difficult to breathe. Shortly after adjusting to the climate it got much better. After enjoying our time on top we went to the cable car and to ...

... best manner, I have ever received. We were able to finish without hesitation and missing the bus all because of the great staff at this amazing restaurant.    After rushing to the bus and not knowing the reason behind Nestle and the strict timing, I was a bit confused. ... kind of refreshing and reminded me of home. So then we headed home for a chill out before dinner. We wanted cheese fondue again, so we just did it :) might as well, only in Switzerland once! Even if eating out is expensive, it's not everyday I get to see Sujata too. So it was nice. Although I think the franc is better against the euro than it is against the Australian dollar... so that's a plus for me. Although that night I felt sooo incredibly sick. Too ...

... sand shoes for 35 euro. This is the first thing I've bought! Another lovely boat ride home and an early night with room service in bed - I ordered perch (fish) and apple strudel for dessert. The fish was lovely, but it was really just a fillet with chips on the side. The strudel was also nice, with ice cream and vanilla sauce, but really - just strudel and ice cream. The price all up, including an apple juice? 60 francs - that is NZ$80! I'll charge that one to the ...
