We had a wonderful brief stay in Geneva. now in Chamonix France. We stayed in a tiny little hotel with a narrow room, see the picture below, then we walked the streets of Old Town Geneva which was very charming. Cobblestone streets and outdoor cafes everywhere.

... We checked out the big monument of Michelangelo too - they really like statues here. We did a LOT of walking in Milan on Monday - something like 27,000 steps and 11 or so miles. My feet hurt. The shopping is obviously amazing here - very high fashion! We went to a center called the Golden square - it had the highest end shopping you can imagine. I went into a Gucci store and thought maybe i would just get the smallest purse for myself but it was still $750.00 ...
