... farmers lead their cows through the valley towns up into the hills. The farmers take great pride in their livestock and traditionally the cows wear expensive hand painted bells around their necks. Some of the bells are huge and weigh up to 100 pounds and it is custom to display the bells of past years on the sides of the dairy barns. We got to see several of these. Dr. Fegley had this creme colored liquor that smelled like liquorice. Dipal, Emily, and I had beer from the tap. Our arguments of politics involved mostly foreign policies of the US and of other countries. We argued wether or not it was necessary to intervene and how money affects countries.
