... is a city deep in gray scale - the mist off the lake mutes most of the buildings to white or dull stone colors, and I have yet to see a local wearing anything but black. Emirates is certainly a great airline, my only criticism is that although the meals were superb you only got one meal early on in the 9hr & 7hr legs. Stu from work would not have survived. Well, we got to DIA with PLENTY of time. Too bad that time couldn't have carried over on to DC... In several forms Plane sat on Tarmac for 30+ minutes (lavatory issues), turned around, went back to the gate to have that fixed AND refuel (since after all that time sitting we now didn't have enough to fly across country), waited another 25 and finally left -- about 1 hr or so late.
