... by the machine found a home for us at the tours or in the lobby! My favorite part of coarse was the chocolate tasting at then end, and the dark chocolate covered oranges we're memorable! I bought a bag at the shop in addition to many gifts, and it was gone before our flight home! Once back, we got settled in our rooms, which were very cozy. ... that was what was in store for me I would take a bread roll, a bottle of water and an apple and be quite happy. I'm not complaining about travelling first class! I got to the train station early. Par for the course for me and went looking for a cash machine so I could draw out some cash to be ready for the Swiss Francs. I couldn't find one at Gare de Lyons. ... We are in Athens now. We rode a bus for the hour and a half trip from Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens to the port of Piraeus, where our overnight ferry is docked. I am now writing onboard the beautiful Minoan Lines Knossos Palace ferry. This is an overnight ferry and although it doesn't leave Piraeus until 9:00 p.m., we were allowed to go ahead and check into our cabin just after 6:00 p.m. We met a nice man from Athens, Jimmy, as we walked toward the ferry.
