In the morning my mum, dad, my uncle, my untie and there friend decided there were going to a party. So we played around had lunch and then played again until about 5 o'clock. Then everyone except my brother, my baby sister and I were not going, but we were going to have a sleep over at our friend's house. The old town (for tourists) is a single quaint street with restaurants, hotels, and craft shops. After a coffee and short walk, we had lunch at Le Chalet de Gruyeres, famous for its fondue. We ordered their specialty fondue - gruyere and vacherin cheeses with white wine, dipping ...

Heading North!

With some concern about the distance to travel & the time required, we were up early and packed in no time! Lynda & I headed off to collect the car from the car park, at €57 for the 2 days we were pleased that we'd moved it!

We double parked in a no standing zone, which appears to be common practice in Europe, and went up to gather our gear. We hugged Lucy and wished her well for the rest of her travels, it is sad to ...
