    ... weeks of sun, cheese, baguettes, pate, wine, and all things French. We travel down to the South of France in 2 weeks to visit my Italian cousin (who has 2 girls (more girls!!) ages 3 1/2 and 18 months) who are holidaying near Arles (where Van Gogh lived and painted his famous 'Cafe at Night') and my Aunt who lives near Uzes a really pretty French town not far from Arles.

    Well we didn't stay to listen to the frogs and have moved along to Quarre-Les-Tombes for a night in its Aire. A great stopover in Quarre-Les-Tombes with a little village square, few shops and cafe/bars. We were woken Sunday morning with many cyclists getting registered and prepared for the local monutain bike race, the village also has a small market on and we enjoyed a coffee watching it all go on in the ...

    We stayed on this fabulous lakeside Aire in Mountsauche-Les-Settons, some lovely walks along the waters edge, Tia off the lead having fun exploring. We parked next to two British Vans and met some nice people, helped Di and Frank with there iPads etc ...

    ... had not cycled today because he was still unwell. So I met up with him in our room, which was a 3rd floor attic room accessed by an ancient circular stairwell.
