... how long we were staying and hit is up for 40 euros. Generally Switzerland was really expensive. Germany seems to be way more affordable. Marky loved the fact that the beer is only 2.50 euro for a pint!! We have done a pub crawl and had a feed at the motel where we are staying. It was a very nice meal. ... was it amazing what all was done, but it provided us with a beautiful view of the valley and lakes connecting the area.  Again, the weather was fantastic until we came home when it began to rain. We woke up to bright sunshine and clear blue skies, which was a surprise after the big storm last night.

We had a lovely journey and our plan was originally to go to L'Isle sur le Doubs and according to our local information brochure it was only 16 kilometres and 6 locks. It was not correct!, so we stopped at Clerval which was that distance.
