... decker tour and that didn't help. However, we happen to meet another family from MN and they suggested the Casements, an enormous underground military defense system of tunnels - starting in 1644. It was over 14 miles worth of tunnels with many openings for cannons. Very narrow stairs and hallways and also a few very large rooms. It was dark and kinda creepy. In 1867 due to the neutralisation of Luxembourg the fortress was evacuated and had to be dismantled, this took 16 years and the casemates were reduced to 17 km long, had they reduced them ...

Great, hilarious, tiny book, and the movie had Peter Sellers in three roles, so you know it rocked. Otherwise, I mostly knew Luxembourg as the locqtion of a part of ...

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a very grand name for such a little, but pleasant place. It isn't, thank goodness, full of quaint little houses but rather grand modern buildings catering for the EU financial and justice districts on one side of the river and the "old" town on the other. The financial district is so important to the area that there is even a 10 foot tall banker statue on a street corner! ...
