The Old french Capital during world war II
We spent the day in Vichy with Marie Christine, Philippe and the twins.
They took us to the source of the famous Vichy water.
Vichy was the French capital during the WW.
Philippe saw a really tall guy with an NBA back pack on and went across the street to speak with him ~ he plays for the Vichy team and is from Houston! Justin Reynolds.

Day 2. A fantastic but tough day
Today we are off to Vichy. The gossip is that today is a difficult one. We start the 1st RT of the day as we leave the hotel and there are a total of 3 check points in it. Each one is a chance to lose points.
Last night we got our positions and I was both amazed and horrified to find us in 7th place overall. Another Belgian mother and daughter team just ahead of us.

Day 8: Troyes to Vichy
Last night's rain carried on into to-day and accompanied us all the way as we travelled 300 Km south, and the temperature sat on 12 degrees all day. Opportunities for sightseeing were limited but we made the best of it, first stopping at a town called Pontigny to have a look at an impressive 12th century Cistercian Abbey.

Vichy – Hoje não tivemos muita pressa também para sair. Simone e Georges nos convidaram para almoçar por volta das 12hs. Mas nós tinhamos que passar numa caixa tirar dinheiro para a Mami, passar no correio para colocar umas cartas para os irmãos, e eu, mandar o presentinho da Daniele que tinha esquecido.
