    We started our second day in Beaune with a lovely breakfast before going to the Fallot Moutaderie - the mustard factory. At the factory, Ben saw a stone mustard grinder for crushing mustard seeds. Next we got to make our own mustard by crushing mustard seeds with salt and verjus (which Ben thought smelt like vinegar) in a mortar and pestle. The tour guide said Mummy's mixture was excellent! ...

    After a small blip, of Peter having a grumpy day and finally admitting to being a little bit over it and feeling homesick, we are back on track.
