Chffing down
... and we eventually won back my soggy washing.
A productive day at work, got lots of my jobs crossed off the list-hurrah! Yummy staff dinner from the No 14 kitchen of creamy mushroom pasta-sounds a bit dull? it really wasn't!
Massaging my boss tomorrow, hope he still thinks I'm worth it!
Snow is coming down like snowbodies business. Getting a good base on the pistes. . .apparantly:)

Team dinner at 14
... fig chutney and toasts and then-yes more!-honeycomb and apple parfait with apple sorbet. My goodness! The most incredible meal I've ever had. The chefs are outstanding. The service was smooth and charming, so impressed with the hosts.
After finishing our drinks in the lounge the team head out for a few drinks on the town. I'm entirely sure that Verbier nightlife is quite me. Very different to La Ros vibe of fun and friendly. I need to do a bit more expolring to find my fit I think.

Schilthorn and North face walk
... had spent a good couple of hours there already. Our guidebook had recommended the “north face” walk from lower down so we thought we might hop off the gondola at Mürren if the weather was nicer below. Sure enough, once we got down lower the clouds were gone and we once again had incredible views. The stunning swiss alps
... and admired the view, which took in a valley with massive waterfall and the snow capped mountains in the background, then with an afternoon to spare, popped a bottle of delicious french red wine and sat out on the veranda to enjoy it! Tough life!
The next day we weren't exactly sure what to do, but did notice that from the cafe where we had breakfast we could book paragliding, we'd seen a few gliders cruising around and above the valley so we jumped on board and ...
Alpine Adventure
... one last day to spend in the heart of the Swiss Alps, we began the day by renting a couple of sleds, determined to get in on a little of the snow sports action of the surrounding area. Hitching a ride up the valley, we arrived in Murren, a resort town akin to Grindelwald, which has managed to far more convincingly retain its mountain town charm.
