And then it was back into the surf, first with some boogie boards and then with some surf boards. The tide was coming in so the waves were big and strong, but I took the girls out with their boards and helped them on their way to a few good runs. They had a great time, but by the time I took over a board I was exhausted, so my attempts to catch a wave in the rough surf were ...

... setting in that it is actually perched on top of a clifftop so whilst a couple of streets run down to Praia do Centro the other beaches are only accessible by stairs or only via another beach. There are 4 beaches of note in Pipa - Centro, Praia do Amor, Baia dos Golfinhos and Praia do Madeiro - and they all more or less disappear at high tide which leaves only a narrow strip of sand on 3 of them and closes off Baia dos Golfinhos completely. ... nice to have a nice cool room. I couldn't get gold of Juan or Rosario so I went to get some tapioca and a coconut water. It then started to pour with rain. It was not just any old down pour. It was Amazonian. The streets turned into rivers and it went on and on. Clearly we were not going to see any type of sunset. I went back to the hostel and finally after a lot of whatsapping I went first to see the Disney boys and then went to meet Rosario and Juan for Açai. ...
