... on the horizon lighting up the beach. A good start. We looked out and the waves looked pretty small but still big enough for a non surfer. We set off and paddled out. As we paddled out, the waves started getting bigger and as each set smashed into us, I knew there was no chance I was catching one today. There wasn't even a small wave from the big sets that broke closer to shore and so unlike back home, there was only one wave per break and not ...

I then got the metro and arrived at the bus station in the city of Recife. I was getting a bus in the direction of Natal but I was told to get off at Goiananha which is about 1 1/2 hours before Natal. They said I could then catch a bus from their to Pipa. I arrived in Goiananha after about 4 or 5 hours ...

... fan was pants and Pipa was pretty balmy. We arrived around lunchtime from Natal so changed and headed to the beach for a few hours. The following day we got up early and walked around the headland to a different bay as we had been told we might see Dolphins. We had to go quite early as you could only get round 3 hours either way of low tide and we wanted to give ourselves plenty of time to try and see Dolphins. Well, we didn't need much time at ...
