    Today we visited an abbey, and a very interesting Cathedral. There was another building or maybe an enclosed area (it was hard to tell) that was attached to the back of the Cathedral that we could see from the outside, but unfortunately we could only visit the sanctuary.     We woke to torrential rain. In fact much of the night was torrential rain so it was no surprise we were next to a very large puddle. After breakfast in the camp common room we were sent to Bages , a tiny village where, to our amazement, there was a bike shop with the right size tyre and inner tube for P&Ps tandem - phew!     A slightly early start this morning - misreading of watch with backlighting got us up by 6.30! Impressive or what! 8.20 kick off and we shopping in Bordeaux by 10. Bouliac has an impressive shopping centre for all our food shopping requirements, a bike shop for Pat and Pam's overshoes, and a coffee brew up next to the shopping centre car park!     ... camper there is but I can tell you we don’t need anything more. We have all the necessary equipment to make our lives as Happy Campers. I made a bed in the back of the ladybug so we could store all the equipment underneath and sleep on the top.
