      So today we had our first "Field Trip" with USAC. It was a lot of fun but boy am I exhausted. We spent the day at a ski resort town in the French Alps. We had several options of things to do (snowshoeing/skiing/snowboarding), but I thought "I'm going to be in the Alps,I might as well make it the first time I ski."

      ... for entry. As it is a magnetic system most people just need to have the card in their pocket close to the card reader and the gate will swing open admitting them as they approach. A simple and fairly quick way to manage big crowds especially at peak times. All this works really well, unless you loose your card!
