... amazing places without the summer crowds and randoms in my photos. Apparently the place is a nightmare during the summer period and just by looking at all the car parking that has been set up, it is obvious that ten of thousands of people visit Le Mont Saint Michel each year and seriously who can blame them, simply remarkable and not to be missed. Just in one church wow, but there was a lot more to it.
That took about 3 hours, my brother, sister and I got really bored.

Today we went to old castle walls at St Malo and walked all the way around.

We passed a prison in the water.

But when it was low tide you could walk across to it.

here was a lot of big rocks to be climbed all over.

We climbed the most biggest and furthest away rock.

St Malo was a cool town surrounded by the old city walls.
We walked the 1.8km along the top of them taking loads of photos of the beautiful view.

The kids just had to climb over the rocks to get to the exposed island at low tide.
Riley and Jordan ran off to climb and the 6 yr old little girl followed, climbing all the slippery and big rocks.

... it had extra, special additions. For our appetizer, I had escargot! They thought I would not eat it but I ate 4 in total and they were surprised I liked and enjoyed it! Next, my last first French act of the evening was the father brought out Calvados brandy. Much of the brandy you see in stores comes from the Normandy area. Or so I am told.
