    ... After the obligatory Clair's and cream and double espresso, we said goodbye to Claude and headed to Vevey, a lovely coastal town with a strong artistic heritage. The walk along the promenade and back through the town took 90 minutes and was a pure joy.     ... quite beautiful. Gruyere is also home to HR Geiger, the designer of Alien (Scary sci-fi movie) and there is a museum dedicated to his work if that's your thing.
