Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...

…I need to take another walk...

Anyone in Calgary who knows us knows the significance of August 1st. Switzerland's National Holiday - celebrated each year in Switzerland with paper lanterns, big bonfires, fireworks and lots of people. ...

... eat chocolate, where little piggy Jr would have ended up like the fat German kid in Willy Wonka if we let him, and 2) the Giger bar in Gruyeres. The castle of Gruyeres was long ago something important, but more recently it’s become a cheapened tourist trap. H.R. Giger bought the chateau and there’s a Giger museum and a bar with all the bio-mechanical art to sit and eat on. We had beers, tripped out a little, and ate croque monsieur made in a toaster oven. - ...
