    We awoke to a lovely sunny morning and a chorus of waterfowl cries.
    Schleswig has a very good museum in a Renaissance castle - the Schloss Gottorf, with some items that we particularly wanted to see. We packed our lunch and set off on the path which ran right along beside the sea.

    After a difficult day yesterday, but one we would not have missed, we left Adendorf, heading north to a town my son had highly recommended. ( thank-you Martin!)

    An overnight stay right on the Baltic Coast just West of Felnsburg; we arrived here on 29 Apr and decided to leave on the 30 Apr because from the 1 May you have to pay to get onto the beach - even just to walk on it, let alone swim!

    It was a very peaceful night - one of the best so far even though we had to walk about 400m to the shower and washing up block!
