    ... is low and the glass cases very reflective. They don't think they died of natural causes and one is blind folded. We have seen Utzi, the Ice Man, in Austria and he is a bit better preserved.
    We had a good look around the Schloss/ Slot until we were 'museum-ed' out and needed to get back for ' a nice cup of tea! '

    ... the Aire was almost full, with lots of Swedes and Norwegians going the other way to us!

    Schleswig has a pop of 25,000 and still feels like a fishing village, and more Danish than German, which it was for a very long time.
    We went for a quick walk, but the Cathedral was just about to close -5pm- so we left that until tomorrow.

    ... and headed to Flensburg; Germany's most Northerly big town...quite impressive. Lunch was a toss up between Currywurst and Chips or a Greek Buffet....the Greeks won; strange we know but we used to love the Greek Restaurant in Osnabruck...so the opportunity was taken.

    Walking back to the van we found a € Shop, this we decided was a must for the morning, effectively a 79p shop :-) Lucy spotted a toy shop and also declared we would be going back.

    Not sure if it was the road, the railway, the pavement sweeper or excitement for the € shop but we were all wide awake by 7am and up fed and showered by 9am.

    ... time to pop to Denmark but unfortunately so was Denmark closed :-/

    We managed to find one open supermarket and a bar where we purchased large Carlsbergs while Lucy performed a show dancing round the quiet bar. We didn't stay there long!

    The cash machine was a highlight of the day, withdrawing 300 kroner felt like loads but turned out to be about 30. At 62 kroner a beer our cash did not last ...
