Spots of the morning included a man with missing parts and a wolf fleece, far too many red trousers to mention or photograph and a lady with a skunk on her head.

We parked in a harbour car park and while we ate lunch in the van the carpark filled with emergency service vehicles, they set up tables and handed out free wine. Just for background information, Pete's mom was born in Kiel Germany along with her sister Hilda and brother Eckhart. They and all their families live in and around the Kiel area. We stayed with Susanne and Wolfgang, Pete's cousins for 4 nights (more on them later). During this time there was a family ...

... of the lounges by 9:30am. We arrived early, which was good, as around 9:20 the announcement came that our group could leave -- first off the ship. There were zero passport or Customs inspections in the terminal, so it was our easiest and quickest disembarkation ever. We walked off, through the terminal, and down a couple blocks to our parking garage. We were on the road before 9:45am, which was an unexpected surprise.
