Today was purely about getting off and ready to go.

Rob went round to fix Suzy's tire first thing and make sure she was good to go again. We packed and jammed and weighed for a few hours. Then took off to the train at Bare. ... great to meet people. This time I got to encounter the Swiss virology scene.

May I ask you: what a better way to mark the end of summer than going to see the transhumance in Annecy. The main attraction was the cattle crossing the town centre. We saw few ships and many cows. It was rather amusing. After the 'show’, we had an ice cream (it was just about warm enough for one) and a walk around town. Annecy centre is very pretty.
