France Relaxation at Last

... we picked up our car which is what we keep for 5 weeks. It is 40 minutes to our house on the A9 motorway.

On the way to our house we had a quick stop in Pezenas at the Carrefour Supermaket to get a few groceries. When we arrived home we went upstairs and unpacked the groceries and suitcases and opened all the house up to air.

Seb and Dad put our new bikes together all afternoon, I couldn't wait to go for a ride. They are Italian and I am so excited. It is very hot, 33 degrees Celsius and I was trying to sneak and open the box before they opened mine.

We didn't go for a bike ride as we were all so exhausted I just needed to go to sleep.

joined them for a play and a lovely Indonesian lunch made by Yovita and once
lunch and art were over the older kids headed out to a party on the beach for
Guilliame (in Maddi’s class). Good on ya Toni. With kids eventually finding the
beach and Toni picking Corban up and home it was just a quiet afternoon until

... through a lot of the statues where we mimicked a lot of their
actions and had plenty of fun. Making our way down to the ground floor we
stopped off to see “Venus de Milo” a statue with no arms where we met a full contingent
of overly pushy Chinese, luckily the Kings had packed their full shoulder
armour! We continued to peruse the museum stopping for a quick fuel top up and
headed off to Napoleon III apartments which were in the Richelieu ...

... the actual bear that was discovered in the
cave in 1931, certainly not something we were keen on discovering in our time

Leaving the caves we went down to the local
village for a bite to eat, we would have liked at French pub but settled for a
