... out everything about the area. Well done Neville - despite your technical problems you delivered a very interesting, insightful presentation. It's now Sunday and we drove to Cumbria to see my Cousin Laura and Family. An interesting tour of the region by Dominic and a delightful pub lunch. My "tourist" highlight was going to Alnwich Castle (Northumberland). Harry Potter movie 1 and 2 were partly filmed here. What an outstanding ...
... my pronunciation, and are always happy to help. Our local supermarket is very handy (five minutes’ walk) but sadly lacking in variety and panache. The floor tiles are cracked, parts of it need a bloody good clean and the place is often in disarray, yet somehow it remains well supported by the local clientele. 8.40am easy walk to the station to meet the delightful chocolate train, onboard we are greeted with a chocolate croissant and hot drink. Our travel is through tranquil countryside with it’s rolling hills and green green ...
... But not the good kind. I definitely felt like I went back a decade. Especially since all of the videos shown were of snowboards and skateboarders via 1995. I managed to gather up the alcohol courage and actually practice my french on the locals. To my surprise, most of them were actually English or Australian. Go figure! All in all, a fun time especially after all of the other ICN people came out. Really getting a feel for the ERASMUS atmosphere.
