... along. The village looks quite large but only has 80, mostly elderly, residents.

Currently we sitting on a deck in the shade drinking Pastis and watching the Pilgrim Trail walkers come into the village we are now. St Chely is another nice little village, 100 or so houses with a river running through it and a couple of great restaurants.

... trying to avoid the twisted ankle.  People tend to keep their properties very well maintained.  A fair number of artists seem to be located here and this village unlike the others had some commerce in the form of two bistro/restaurants and a shop with all things Auvergne. After finding one of the larger producers in town (Societe) we got ourselves set for a guided tour of the famous caves where the cheeses are aged (and must be by law in order to be Roquefort).
