    ... had started) pulling a trailer-like contraption with a soft canopy that looked a bit like a flimsy gypsy caravan. His expedition seemed a little more adventurous than a pilgrimage in a VW Kombi. Apparently he wasn't sure how long it would take him and looked as if he didn't have a care in the world.
