... taking to get to Paris as we had left Poitiers early in the am and did not get to Paris until mid afternoon. We past a few castles and lots of crops, future croissants and baguettes! In the end there was a bit of chanting and clapping of "Paris" (clap, clap, clap) coming from the back if the bus, and you don't have to be Einstein to know who instigated that!

... br> Turned out to be a good decision. Chenconceau is so big and beautiful outside and inside that we just decided to take it easy and spend the entire day there instead of rushing through it and then driving 80 km to Chambord to make the day a twofer.

Remember when I said I bought some new knickers yesterday. Well I didn't really understand the sizing. Despite the vast quantities of fromage I've consumed there's still plenty on room to move in these babies. Un grande knickers. Anyway...back to things of greater cultural relevance.

(Ruby)- Today was very fun, we went to Chateau Chambord which had a lot of stairs. It was so tall and they are fixing the roof. We watched a film about how they built it.
