Today was our first day together after a weekend with our host families. Many of the students had met up in groups over the weekend break and also got to see amazing sights and take part in adventures around the local area of Neuchâtel

... islands of Venice. The plane trips were terribly uncomfortable and having travel sickness on a 12 hour flight didn’t help. I can’t say I have a favourite place that we have visited as they were all wonderful to visit. The food here is really good (even better than mums cooking) and it is also great as we don’t have to clean up after breakfast and dinner. I am having an amazing time and can’t wait to see you guys.

... Work. The sing-along on the bus was fantastic…especially when the line “he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich” came up. Today was a real highlight of the trip.
