... potato for main and tiramisu for dessert. We were going to have snails but nobody else at the table was interested and they only came on a plate of 20 and I doubt we were going to eat a whole plate. Jordan had a goats cheese salad that he was not too fond of so switched with a guy who got the chicken gizzard salad and he loved it. ... today, he seems pretty cool and speaks clearly so I think it will be a productive semester. I got to choose to "Option" courses for my level so I chose Theater (because I'll have to speak and I like moving) and "Mode" or Fashion because I like sewing and thought it would be interesting. I also signed up for a guided 4 day trip to the South of France during our 2 week long spring break:) We also rode the ferris wheel today

... soon as the wheels touched the runway the pilot put the brakes on and kept them on for a very rapid deceleration. Everyone was thrown forward in their seats and loose luggage under seats skidded down the plane. It was quite extreme but the captain was clearly aiming for the first taxiway to head to the terminal. He made the first turn with a feeling like the plane may skid sideways and we then taxied to the terminal at a rate of knots I have never experienced before. I ...

... so, even though I was interested in other flavors that was the one that I ordered). I ordered my food in French, getting a fish thing and salmon. I ended up getting their "surprise" for dessert which was a sweetened squash paste thing. It was a really fun experience! Next we headed to a cocktail bar for some after dinner drinks. ... couldn't find the door to get down there?

There were mirrors everywhere and pot plants and old paintings on the wall, we had some wine and headed down for dinner!
We had such a good dinner might I say, a very LARGE portion of Quiche as entree, Chicken and rice with Salad as a main and Desert which was a decadent chocolate brownie cake with little crackle pops on top. It was absolutely divine!
We all went to the living room to play trivia.
