... with livestock. We felt like Indiana Jones!! After our exploring of tunnels, we found an old shopping area with pretty buildings. We ate a couple bars of delicious Belgium chocolate and gyros for dinner. Going to bed early. Weather has been warm but not too bad. 20th August So, our final camper week, sadly starts ... We left a good camper stop, over looking the harbour ... a lovely, bright sunny day, and a great example of a French camper stop. Not only was this the beginning of the last week in the camper, we were also leaving France for the last time. Paris to come though ... We saw that there was a kind of fair on today in the local town - Echternach-Luxembourg, so we thought we would go and check it out early. Filled with market stalls setting up with various homemade stuff, with all types if cheese, meats, cake etc, very tempting! ... so he was clearly taking us on a trip down memory lane. After a delicious, traditional meal in the city center we visited a great museum, which displayed the history of Luxembourg. It is truly amazing just how much it changed over the centuries, as Luc says, "They just kept taking more and more slices of it until there was practically nothing left!" It’s hard to believe that they have any identity whatsoever; the French, Belgians, Dutch and Spanish fought over them ...

... shortly after 8 AM Central European Time. Having had no sleep along the way, I eventually lost track of what time it felt like.

I grabbed my baggage and got completely turned around trying to find the bus stop to Frankfurt Hahn airport. The airport in Hahn is Frankfurt in name only in that it's the closest city. By comparison, it would be as if they decided to call it "Seattle Bellingham airport" given the hour and a half drive it takes ...
