Perpignan & Collioure - Catalan delights
... less evidence of building work. Despite this the views over to the Pyrenees from the ramparts are superb and the exterior and courtyard are worth the walk up here. It has incredibly thick walls especially on the tunnelled entrance staircase. Impressive. Quite a few tourists are arriving now and a couple of coaches of German tourists and we decide to head back to town going by a different route that turns out to be much shorter as Lorna is keen to point out.
