... Hitler only visited the Eagles Nest 14 times! Moreover, it costed €100 million! It was the most expensive house built since the French kings built their palaces. Some of the most breathtaking scenery we have seen ever !!!! We drove along the valley floor looking at what we thought we're some special views, until we started climbing up to Grossglockner and were amazed at the scenery. ... which is quite a pretty town with quite a lot of the traditional Bavarian painted buildings, we did a tour of the Salt Mines at Berchtesgaden which has been a salt mine since 1517 and is Germany's oldest active salt mine.
