I need to visit 50 countries by Christmas so we decide to take a day trip and go to Colonia in Uruguay. A short administrative detour
... long holiday’ we are back in business. We’ll only be arriving in Bariloche 2 days behind schedule and our only change will be that we will no longer drive to Ushuaia because my Emergency Passport won’t allow us to go through Chile and back to Argentina without a visa. Ironically this might actually turn out to be a better plan as it saves us money on the rental and gives us more time to see the national parks in southern Patagonia! ...
