We were back at Falgars in good time which gave us the opportunity to sit around outside doing not much with another bottle or two of cider before getting ready for another superb evening meal.
Unsurprisingly, given its remoteness, it gets properly dark after sunset around Falgars and there's no artificial light through the windows after bedtime, but some time around 3 a.m. finding your way ...

We were given another lovely, simple room at the end of the house, overlooking the forest that sits astride the ridge but didn't mess about there for long because we were thirsty from the drive and remembered that the charming bar sold French cider.
