In the car:
Passing through Valencia on the way from Peñiscula to Alicante. We drove over a bridge through these alien-like buildings above different pools. We're coming back on the 11th to stay!

... of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain. The castle was built by the Moors in the 9th/10th century and, at 166 meters in height, produces an amazing view of the city, coastline and harbor. The castle is full of cannons, dungeons, a moat, the ruins of a small church and, of course, a famous lookout tower. It really is a great place to visit and I definitely wish we would have had more then one day to enjoy Alicante. ...

... if you're not sunburnt you haven't really had a holiday...

The unexpected welcoming committee set an interesting tone for the trip. After the initial shock at seeing 4 prostitutes strutting their stuff out the front of our hotel, we moved to a state of amusement followed by awe at the impressive tone of the bare gluteus maximus we had a clear view of. Was it a man or woman? Who cares, props for keeping it in such great shape and having the guts to go pant less on ...

... to the top and we had to turn around in fear that weck down and out to a gas station. Luckily just coasting down the hil for 10 km still left us with enough gas to putter into the station n town.

We are never going to run out of gas again.

Worth the trip for sure cause we got to pull the camper van right up onto the beach. Spent the night drinking on the sand and watching the night go by. Woke up early and made a full breaky with our fancy kitchen stuff......well actually Tony made it and I ran to the sea cause I had to pee so bad lol.
