    Today In the morning we had a morning swim. The water was cold. yesterday we went to the poy du fou and it was phenominal. They were trying to act the ww1 and ww2, they did very good. At the poy du fou there were translators that can also change to the radio and I got to keep my one. We are staying at a miniature hotel.

    ... enjoying our evening meal a huge fishing boat passed very close to us and waved probably after seeing our nervous grins... after topping up with ice and food stores for nearly and hour. Fishing boats were arriving and leaving all the time, at 5 in the morning there was a mass exit as well which woke us up.We got up 8 ish to sail to Ile d' Yeu and had breakfast on the way, there was plenty of cloud and SW winds, we switched the engine off very quickly and sailed at ...

    ... the end of this show which Jane thought were the finale but no, the story continued ending at 12:20pm - close to 2 hours of non-stop action and brilliance. We heard that there were 2,000 in the cast but over 3,000 involved in the total production. Cast members were all ages from tiny tots (2-3 years old) right through to very much older people (older that us!) and included many live animals. Special effects, lighting, fireworks and excellent music, ...

    ... just like one sees at the Spring Racing Carnival in Melbourne.
    There are 4 hotels on site but no room was available despite booking last year so we are staying about 10 minutes away.

    It is a very large park telling the history of France from Roman times until current day. There are different areas from different eras with little villages set up and often a special show at different times during the day and evening.
