A travel blog entry by adventurebarbie on Jan 23, 2015

Hello again, The internet is bad here even when "they" say it is good. Not really strong enough to get many photos with my entries and I have some great photos. I have tried several times to send photos and it just doesn't work, unfortunately. I will be heading to Fez in a couple of days and will try catching up with photos from there. Just ask Mandy what it was like in 1968 when she was there for a year and I think you will hear a very funny story. An epiphany occurred when she was there and it is soooooo funny. So when we have dinner with you we shall delight you in this hilarious occurrence.

The next day we had a day trip out of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains. We had our own driver ...

... The noise - snake charmers, bongos and other musical gatherings. It made me smile like I have done many times over the past three years, looking at something foreign and fantastic, appreciating a sight I would never have known existed had I not left the UK. "This is awesome!", I said to Lydia as we got up to walk around after they'd finished eating.

Unfortunately I'll also remember that night for another thing, far from being a big smile. Just like the guys with ...
