... brûlée for desert. Our first really great French meal this trip. Waddled home after lunch and wine tasting, had a rest and then went out to take photos. Beaune is a beautiful little city, and there were buskers everywhere playing French music, so a really nice time to wander. While we are in Bourgogne, we will mostly be in the départment of Côte-d'Or, where the most expensive and prized Burgundies are found (not that we will be drinking these!), so we decided to bone up a little on our wine knowledge.
