    ... there within the next year or 2. Central Paris for 250Euro a week seems like good value.
    We took the TGV train from Paris to Maccon. Travelled at 300kph, quite something. Quiet, fast, 400k in an hour and a half. Nice way to travel. Our friends from Pont de Vaux picked us up at the station. and finally got back to Pont de Vaux. Again!

    ... fairy floss! Next we went to another wine cellar - the Marche aux vins. Mum and Dad got to try some great wines in the cellar. We then went back to the hotel and had dinner.     While we are in Bourgogne, we will mostly be in the départment of Côte-d'Or, where the most expensive and prized Burgundies are found (not that we will be drinking these!), so we decided to bone up a little on our wine knowledge.

    It is not raining! Yay! The sky is dull and it is very cold, but it is so nice not to have it raining. We ordered our baguette from Anne last night and she collected it for us from her favourite boulangerie. She has a bread bag which you leave on the door if you want bread. Very civilized! Breakfasted on cereal, yoghurt and fruit and thought the bread would do for lunch. Put in a load of washing and was able to hang it on the heated towel rails to dry. ...
