        Tuesday & Wednesday, Amboise, Loire Valley: We visited three popular chateaus of the kings of France at Villandry, Chambord, and Chenonceau. Amazing gardens & architecture, the crown jewels of the Loire Valley. Some great wine tasting at a local vineyard followed up with a traditional French meal of escargots and lamb at a beautiful restaurant in a limestone cave.         A bit of back and forth reattaching the awning but we eventually cracked it! Then delish barbie of chicken and steak and bits before Sherlock Holmes movie and sleepy bed!         We went to Abbaye de L'Epau on the outskirts of Le Mans. Jon volunteered to read (snooze) with Prego in the van whilst I looked around.
