... we had a great coastal walk, in search of la Vierge sur le rocher. We stopped at a café for hot drinks and directions. In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. We're doing great, and creating new friendships with our travel companions, a group from St. Louis, Missouri, and one from Colorado. Good ...
... Spain to Irun and in Spain there is no strike. So hopefully I can take a bus or a train to Leon from there. I'm writing this right now in the bus to Hendaye. But, when there is a strike, it's incredibly frustrating. I was seriously thinking of hitchhiking, although I know my dad would be horrified at the thought of me doing that. Tomorrow I will go and splash in the ...
... a really short walk from the hotel, but just down a different road. After walking up that big hill I was relieved that we were going downhill home!
Mitch was definitely in need of a steak and some veges and that's just what he cooked for dinner. It's disappointing that I'm feeling under the weather in such a beautiful place but I'd much rather feel that way here, where we're only just relaxing anyway, than somewhere like Paris, trying to do all the sights. Bed.
