... Of course it had to wait until we were by the seaside! We figured it was because we were closer to England. The town council again provided us with dinner, the local specialty of mussels and french fries. Apparently they were delicious, but as a non-mussel eater I had a leftover sandwich from lunch. It's just after midnight and we're parked outside the gates of the terminal waiting for our 5.30 am ferry. I have rare, unrationed and free internet access, courtesy of LD lines and have elected to stay awake to make sure we are up and ready for a 4am check-in - I can sleep tomorrow while Nigel drives.
