Close the door on your way out
... strewn all over the floor. The rucksack is in for repair. It's a small job but it needs stitching before it gets any worse. The guy originally said it would be ready next Friday. Ten days for a tiny amount of stitching. A smaller job was done by a smaller shop in Berlin in pretty much a day. Now I get the bag back on the day I fly out. Meanwhile it's goodbyes in the time of Facebook. In fact I prefer au revoir - the meaning and philosophy is more appealing.

In five weeks time I will be back in Siem Reap. I will have stepped through the door of the plane and smelt that wonderful smell that is Cambodia. Hot and dusty.

Antibes
... to remain undetected when they've had enough of Cannes.
We didn't do much but wander around soaking up the sunshine. Antibes is a great place to just sit and relax while watching the luxury yachts drift by. Impressive yachts they are too. We even saw one complete with helipad and helicopter. I don't know who these people are, who laze about on giant yachts on a Monday, but I'm very, VERY envious.

... was amazing, we got lost a couple of times making our adventure that much more adventurous, each town had its history and points of interest and I DROVE A FRIKKEN SCOOTER! Even at the end of the day that was still going through my head.
