... fully overhauled. The engine has been out after when inspected it was apparent that sand had done a lot of damage. The cylinders had to be renewed and a 5speed gearbox was installed. We have also made modifications to overcome the fuel mixture problems at altitude. More about that when we make our first ascend over 4500mtrs. We also fixed the funny problem with the claxon, in Morocco it was sounding every time we made a turn, so we disconnected it.

... bags. That all went well, and now unburdened we headed to the heart of Amsterdam. I'd heard in the past about Amsterdam's red light district but nothing had quite prepared me. ... a show for us tourists than a serious piece of business, but it’s great fun nonetheless.

In a big square beside an algae ridden canal (isn’t it a lovely shade of green?) and in front of the weighing house, huge rounds of cheese are laid out for auction, and then, presumably sold on the basis of so much a kilo.

They are carried on sledges to the scales in the weighing house ...
