... propaganda. The word is frightening, but it shouldn't always be. The propaganda on display here is in favour of trying to keep you on the straight and narrow in a sometimes appealing way. It's making suggestions about how to become a better person - through the help of art." To appreciate art you don't need to have a PhD or have read many books, appreciation of art is an individual thing. ... in Australia. After a visit to Dave and Melissa's home, we went home to relax and enjoy another very nice meal at Anneke's.

Wednesday and we are just relaxing and hope to have a BBQ, if the weather improves. The weather was nice when we arrived, but deteriorated with colder temperatures, but at least no rain. It has been good to spend this time with Anneke and Pieter, and relaxing in Holland.

Tomorrow morning we head back to Wiesbaden for our final days in Europe.

We also fixed the funny problem with the claxon, in Morocco it was sounding every time we made a turn, so we disconnected it.

We've had a great start to our trip. Amsterdam lived up to its reputation. We've spent only about six hours there so far, but took in a fair bit considering the jet lag. Our flights were long but bearable thanks to the great service offered by Singapore Airlines. We had only one stop in Singapore so all up the travelling time was just short of 24 hours. We got into Amsterdam airport at about 7 am local time on Saturday morning and headed to our boat to drop ...
