    ... over the history notes and excerpts from her book that made up the museum. I was however, caught up by the sound of the church bell that she referred to so often and seeing the spaces she described. I have a much greater sense of it all now.     Impromptu day. Went to the Visitors Center to find out about dinner canal boat tours. They recommended a Sloep boat. We called the number and Trudy our captain was ready for us. We stopped at the grocery store, grabbed some sandwiches and wine and hopped on the boat. An hour ride around the canals...beautiful! Finished our snacks while sitting on the canal dock. ...

    Yesterday, I packed the last clothes I received from my colleagues for the children, and this morning I went to my doctor for some vaccinations, so the trip is really getting closer now!
