... to give our compliments to the office for the walk and organisation. Found a cafe open eventually for lunch. Amazing that so few were open as it was raining. Back to our hotel where we have the same room we had when we stayed before the walk. Overall, this was an excellent walk that had something different to offer on each day, some days harder than others, all the accommodation and meals were great and luggage transfers worked perfectly. Very good value for money and we ...

... very nice. Town is on a river, flowing with the most lovely clear water. Crossed over to look at the summer palace of the Habsburgs (of Česky Krümlov and Vienna fame) but there looked to be a photo shoot happening of the local fire brigade. Managed to get one photo in before they parked their trucks in front of the building. Even though the town is fairly small (about 13 000) it is easy to get disoriented as what look to ...

... chandelier. It was so detailed and gorgeous. This palace is basically a museum of Louis XIV's Versailles. Ludwig II may seem quite wasteful when it comes to building palaces. Of course, again, he didn't quite spend much time at this palace. I believe it was barely 10 days that he slept in that fancy bed in his ...
