... the village because it's harvest and wine making season. Know a few folks back home that would love a day in this region - it is simply stunning. Lunch was at "Le Deck" in Chexbres, a modern bar and restaurant at the top of the hill overlooking the vineyards and across the lake to France. An infinity pool on the edge gives the impression of being on the precipice, gorgeous outlook. The food and wine week delicious again - perch from the lake, John's new favorite and sea bass, another ...

Our day trip to Gruyere gave us our country side and small rural village experience in Switzerland. ... Thonon was a cute little village, not a huge amount to see so we stopped in the centre for some lunch before wandering down near the Marina. Then back on the boat which was actually the best part. Claude collected us from our hotel and took us into Lausanne for dinner where we met up with Barbara who just finished work. Barbara is an English ...

... to go and things to do. Today is shopping day. Found that Guillermo has set up" Grocery Shopping" as a favourite on the car's GPS. VERY KIND. We set out for Orons la Ville, about 8 km away late morning. Inadvertently selected Route B .... This took us down some single lane roads that we shared with several tractors. We discovered our error on the way home ... No single lane roads, no ...
