... thankful that we made it to the Naples flight. Nice flight to Naples. Arrived about 11:30. Flight time ~90 minutes. Supper was a sandwich with unidentifiable cream cheese filling. Same as the offering on the flight from Geneva to Frankfurt. It had rained most of the day, but sky had cleared by the time we arrived. Lost luggage Upon arrival we watched the luggage carousel fill, then empty. No suitcases. Filed a lost luggage ...

"Faster, higher, stronger" - Olympic motto, an expression of excellence, not the glorification of performance or victory, but of giving one's best, improving and striving for ...

... no shoulder on the road, pouring rain and poor road surface. Not what we were expecting for an official national cycle route! Turns out there was a jazz festival in town, which might explain why the traffic was so crazy! We thought we would be fighting the traffic forever, it was unrelenting. But after following the road, no idea where the route was as the signage was pretty non-existent, we found it! We followed it, and it took us away from the traffic, only to replace it ...
