... you pay a tourist tax but that also entitles you to free public transport. We caught a trolley bus into the main part of town. On the way the bus got pulled over by the cops, that was a first. I think he got a warning because we were soon on our way. The town is really hilly and you need to take a train to go from one side to the other.
The next day we took a boat along the lake to ...

Labergement. A very Swiss looking town in heart of The Alps. Close to the Swiss boarder and Mont D'Or. Aire. 10 bay parking lot next to very high tech Sports facilities and community centre. With vast lakes for a playground. Funny sort of new town with the most fantastic sports facilities next to Lac de Remoray Boujeons. This would have been a great little place for a family stopover in ...

... bikes go but soon we were on a well engineered road cruising at around 60km/hr. Steve and I coaxed the bike up to 70 a couple of times by crouching down. This went on for about 30km. After the steep downhill the route continued to trend gently down all the way to lake Geneva. For the latter part of the route to the lake we were on a cycleway alongside the Rhone which was ...

    Retracing old footsteps in Fribourg

... wood for 6-10 months (in my opinion 10 months tasted the best). At the end of the tour we got some of our own cheese to try.

My dad said that we were going to go to an awesome pool one day in Fribourg but I did not believe him. When we acutely went and did it I knew he was not lying. The pool was so big that it had two sections. My dad and I had fun making videos with his underwater camera. Once I splashed him so much that he had to put ...
