... The last time I was at the chocolate factory the tour was only in French. They've pumped things up a bit and run tours now in German, French, Spanish and English. It is a really well done presentation and the best is saved for last as you circle around the sampling area eating as much of the product as you'd like. I didn't think I would hear the ladies say that they were "chocolated out", but they did.

... that hill...the back of an old woman aching from carrying my backpack all day...lack of sleep from staying up so late to post the pics and do this bloody blog...plum worn out! Mind you, it's not a complaint...I'd do it all exactly this way if I had to do it all again. But there is a cumulative tired. And, so...from our loft Carmel sits with me as I hear snoring downstairs at 9:00...all showered...relaxed and tucked in.

... we visited the Royal Residenzplatz; a funky horse fountain called 'Horsepond'; Mozart's Birth house, although if it didn't have what is was written on the front, who'd have known; the Augustine Beer Hall at the Mülln Monastery, but it was closed? ... what self respecting beer establishment is closed at lunch time; tried to find a nice place to eat, off the tourist routes?, along Linzer Gasse, and the Royal residence and gardens at the Mirabell Palace. Today we took a drive to the town of Gruyeres - about half an hour from Vevey .
