The next day we went back to the lake for a swim. The water was so clear you could see the ducks dive to the bottom to get some grass. It was a little cold at first but very ...

We finished another long day, from Champex, Switzerland. This is the northern most point on the TMB trail. Back to the room for Limonchello nite ...

No access to the pool except for a 30 minute window for a 30 Euro day pass fee! We moved on to the city's Tourist Information office. These folks were helpful : historical self-guided walking tour and info on a little tourist train that ...

... we pay as usual the parking charge with credit card, 8.10 francs, taking less than a minute to complete the transaction. We have a fairly quick exit out of Berne, taking the autobahn for awhile but since our rental car doesn't have the vignette for authorized travel on the tollway, I exit at the first chance, for the highway to Solothurn. I drive nearly non-stop all the way to Badenweiler, Germany, for about 3 hours going through many ...
