9:45am: Leaving Lagos after a huge breakfast (first time I've seen bacon, cheese and milk, proper milk anyway since leaving Europe!). In good spirits even though it had been bucketing down since 1am and still drizzling! The good spirits quickly faded, we're on the way to Benin city, ideally to by pass and stay in a " town before we go to Calabar. Distance 322km, expected arrival time 2pm. Most were completely unprecidented. From the conversations and observations I've made here it seems increasingly obvious ...
Head's up guys: I have a dodgy keyboard and 12 minutes to write this. Punctuation, eloquence and grammar beware.
When we last left, I was in Abuja I think. Times have changed. I am now in Ilorin, a bustling, busty city at the meeting point of the main tribes and religions of *****ia.
We arrived after an 8 hour bus journey - Scrabble and sleep, oh how I love thee - and we met our ...
